Imagine having a huge fridge, the one big enough you can actually walk into it.

Now imagine that fridge not using any kind of energy source to work. Sounds quite impossible, right? Well, not. This thing is real!
Last year Dutch designer Floris Schoonderbeek presented this wonderfully innovative way to store food without using any energy on Dutch Design Awards and wowed everyone. The innovation is called the Groundfridge, a refrigerator that is stored underground and requires no energy at all. The temperature of it is determined by temperature of the soil and groundwater, is 20 times the size of a regular refrigerator and can easily be installed, removed, and reinstalled. Pretty amazing, right?
